Account, photos & privacy

Signing in, exporting your data, deleting your account, and how your photos are handled.

Your account holds the most personal data we could ask for: photographs of your face. This page covers how you sign in, what we store, what we do and do not do with it, and how to take it with you or delete it.

Signing in

FaceIQ Labs uses Sign in with Google. There is no password to remember or leak; access is tied to your Google account and its security settings. Signing in from a new device or browser just requires the same Google account.

I do not have or do not want to use a Google account.
Google sign-in is currently the only method. You can create a free Google account with any existing email address (you do not need Gmail) and use it only for this.
I signed in and my analyses are gone.
You are almost certainly signed in with a different Google account than the one you used before. Sign out (profile menu → Sign out) and sign in again choosing the other account. Analyses are never deleted by signing in.
Can I move my account to a different email?
Not self-service yet. Email support@faceiqlabs.com from the current account's address with the new one and we will do it for you.

Your photos

What we store

The front and side photos you upload, the processed versions we make from them (cropped, background-removed, levelled), the landmark coordinates, and every measurement and score derived from them. These are what let you reopen an analysis, edit landmarks, and track progress over time.

Who can see them

  • You. Photos are private by default and shown only to you when signed in.
  • Sharing is opt-in. If you create a share link for an analysis, the linked page shows what you chose to share to anyone with the link. You can disable or regenerate the link at any time from the analysis.
  • Our team may view an analysis when you ask for help with it, or when investigating a fault. We do not browse user photos.
  • Processors. Images are stored with our cloud storage provider and sent to the AI vision models that run the assessments. These providers process on our behalf under contract and do not use your images to train their models.

Training

We do not use your photos, landmarks or measurements to train our own models unless you turn on Help improve the product in your profile. It is off by default. You can turn it off again at any time; data already incorporated into a trained model cannot be extracted from it, but no new data will be used.

Exporting your data

Go to Profile and choose Download Data. You receive a ZIP containing your photos, every analysis as JSON (landmarks, ratios, scores, assessments), and your subscription and payment history. Exports are limited to one per day.

Deleting an analysis

Open the analysis, go to the Options tab and choose Delete analysis. The photos, landmarks and results for that scan are removed. This cannot be undone, and it does not affect your other analyses or your account.

Deleting your account

Go to Profile and choose Delete Account. Choose a reason, then follow the steps to cancel any active subscription, erase your analyses, photos and personal activity, and finally delete your account. After your data is deleted, type DELETE to confirm removal of your login and remaining personal information. Financial transaction records are retained for accounting. Per our privacy policy, deletion from backups completes within 30 days.

Privacy requests

For access, correction, portability or erasure requests under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or similar laws, or any other privacy question, write to privacy@faceiqlabs.com. Most requests are handled by the self-service tools above; for anything else we respond within 30 days. The full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are always available.
