Cancelling your subscription

How to cancel, what happens to your access and data, and how to undo a cancellation.

You can cancel at any time, from inside the app, in under a minute. There is no retention phone call and nothing to email us. This page explains exactly what happens to your access, your data and your money.

How to cancel

    Open Profile → Plan

    Your current subscription, its renewal date and billing period are shown at the top.

    Choose Cancel subscription

    You will be asked, in one tap, why you are leaving. This does not change anything; it just helps us improve.

    Consider (or skip) the offer

    Depending on your plan we may show a discount, a month of Pro, or a downgrade to Basic. Every offer has a clear skip. Nothing is applied unless you accept it.

    Confirm

    The final screen lists exactly what happens: when access ends, that no further charges will be made, and that your analyses are kept. Confirm and you are done.

What happens when you cancel

  • Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for: the end of the month, quarter or year. Cancelling does not cut you off early.
  • No further charges. The subscription does not renew. Your plan page shows the date access ends.
  • Your analyses, photos and history are kept. When the period ends your account reverts to Free. Paid-tier results (full ratios, pillar scores, simulations) become locked but are not deleted, and reappear if you resubscribe.
  • No refund for the remaining time. Because you keep access to the end of the period, we do not prorate. See Refunds for the cases where a refund does apply.

Changing your mind

Until your period ends, the plan page shows your scheduled cancellation with a Keep my plan button. Press it and the subscription continues as if nothing happened, with the same renewal date and price. After the period has ended, simply subscribe again from the pricing page; your history is waiting.

Cancelling versus deleting your account

Cancelling stops billing and keeps your data. Deleting your account removes your photos, analyses and personal data permanently. The account deletion flow lets you explicitly cancel your subscription immediately with no refund, delete your data, and then confirm account deletion. Financial transaction records are retained. Common questions

I subscribed through the website. Can I cancel from my phone?
Yes. Sign in on any device, open Profile → Plan and follow the same steps. All billing is handled by Stripe; there is no App Store or Play Store subscription to manage separately.
Will I get a confirmation?
The plan page updates immediately with the end date, and we send a short confirmation email noting that access continues until the period ends.
I am on a yearly plan and want to stop after two months. Do I get the rest back?
Not automatically. Yearly plans are billed up front at a discounted rate on the understanding that you commit to the year, and you keep access for the full period. If you have not used the service since the payment, it has been under 14 days, and you have not received a refund before, you qualify for a refund; see Refunds. For Pro, simulations, action-plan unlocks and messages to FaceGPT after the payment also count as usage.
Can I switch to Basic instead of cancelling?
Yes. The cancel flow offers this on Pro, or you can choose Basic from the pricing page. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current period, so you keep Pro until then.
