Why it matters
The brow-to-eye gap changes the amount of visible space above the eyes. Scaling it by eye height makes the result sensitive to both brow placement and eyelid opening.
- Lower: brows sit closer to the pupils relative to eye height.
- Higher: a larger relative brow-to-pupil gap.

A worked example
A 12-unit brow-to-pupil gap over a 10-unit eye height gives 1.2. If the eye squints to 8 units, it becomes 1.5 without moving the brow.
