Why it matters

This summarizes a triangular relationship between the lateral eye region and the nose. Eye-region width and vertical nose placement both change the triangle.

  • Lower: a narrower angle at the nose, from a taller triangle or closer outer eye points.
  • Higher: a wider angle at the nose, from a shorter triangle or wider outer eye points.

A worked example
