Simulate

Preview changes on your photo, refine them with FaceGPT or manual controls, and save simulations.

Simulate lets you explore how changes to facial proportions could look on your own photo. Start with a treatment preset, adjust it manually, or describe the change to FaceGPT and refine it in conversation.

Open an analysis and select Simulate. Full simulation access is included with Pro. Use clear photos and reviewed landmarks for a useful starting point.

Create and save a simulation

  1. 1

    Choose a starting point

Create a simulation from the simulations list. In New Simulation, choose a treatment preset or start from scratch. You can search presets and, when scores are unlocked, sort them by score impact.
  2. 2

    Refine the change

Use FaceGPT to describe what you want, or switch to Fine Tune for manual movement controls. Adjust one area at a time so you can see which change produces each effect.
  3. 3

    Compare the result

Compare the original and simulated photo, and review the updated ratios and scores. Check both front and side views when available: a change that helps one view can affect the other.
  4. 4

Save a version you want to keep

Select Save and give a new simulation a descriptive name. Reopen saved simulations from the list. After making manual changes to an existing version, save again before leaving the editor.

Using FaceGPT in the editor

The FaceGPT panel works with the simulation you have open. Describe the area, the amount of change and anything you want to preserve. Follow-up requests can refine the same scenario.

Start a scenario
“Show a subtle chin advancement and explain which ratios change.”
Adjust the result
“Make the chin change smaller and keep the other adjustments.”
Remove a change
“Remove the nose adjustment from this simulation.”

For questions about the measurements behind the result, see Harmony & facial ratios. The FaceGPT guide explains the wider chat tools.

Common questions

Why does the preview look distorted?
Large movements or inaccurate landmarks can make the preview less useful. Reduce the adjustments and check your source photo and landmarks using the accuracy guide.
Can I simulate any treatment I describe?
Simulations use the supported presets and movement controls. A request outside those controls may not produce a preview. Try an available preset and describe the specific adjustment you want.
Does saving a simulation add it to my action plan?
Simulations and plan selections are separate. Open Action Plan to choose the actions you want to track; saving a visual scenario does not record real-world progress.
